Bear Lake has 70,000 acres of turquoise blue water. The lake is so large, you feel as if you have it all to yourselves. This resort area is known for excellent boating, sailing, water-skiing and wakeboarding. Numerous boat ramps are located around the lake, to make launching your boat a breeze. Idaho and Utah State Parks run some of the marinas around the lake. Bear Lake State Park Marina has a 7-lane boat ramp. See the Bear Lake map for boat ramp locations.

The Bear Lake valley, covering both Utah and Idaho, offers as many options for fun as the mind can think of. Bear Lake offers Sail boating, speed boating, water skiing, jet skiing, rafting, kyaking, fishing and much much more all summer long.

Visitors come from miles around to celebrate the beauty of winter and take advantage of the recreational opportunities it brings — from skiing and snowboarding, to ice fishing and snowmobiling.
The Bear Lake valley is fast becoming one of the most popular snowmobiling areas in the western United States, ranked third in 2001 by two major snowmobiling magazines. The area boasts 650 miles of groomed trails that includes portions of The Great Western Trail, a national trail that stretches from Mexico to Canada.
